first impressions!
« on: January 30, 2010, 23:16:02 PM »
I've just joined a Thailand forum as am thinking about going there for the first time and thought how useful CBF would have been before my first visit, therefore a Thai forum would give me a flavour of what to expect.

In the past 5 minutes just on the general discussion page I have read about someone who ran over a Soi dog and left it suffering because theyre usually disease ridden, and everyone who replied said they would have done the same, a post about 'another' murder in Phuket today, a discussion about who has eaten dog and where, but I think this was probably the worst.... I hope the Thai people are nicer than the tourists!

''  Ok,
Last month I was on this cruise in Bangkok having dinner and drinks with friends. I was drunk and needed to do a number 2, I was OK and shots were ordered so I thought I can hang in there until they came.
10 minutes later they finally arrive and I was busting to go, I threw i down and pace-walked to the toilet. There was 1 cubicle left but it had no toilet paper, but it was either do it in the toilet or in my pants as the brother Jacksons were headbutting my pants.
After a huge relief (it felt soooo good) I was stuck in a toilet with no paper and no water spray. i was thinking what the hell am I going to do, then I saw a bin (you know the used toilet paper bin). I opened it (I know) and searched for the cleanest paper there, folding some too (where it had some brown stains). It was disgusting  , but what was I suppose to do? The used toilet paper was a lifesaver.
So has anyone else been in a similar situation? ''

you get a better class of tourist on CBF!

That is bad but I suppose needs must. I was in a traffic jam once in Cambridge and a guy walking along the pavement [must have been desperate] dropped his pants and went by the side of the road no 2.

sorry Tiddlywinks! And Lance, that story didn't actually happen to me, I was just reporting what I read! Great description of what I should do though if I should ever find myself in that position, thanks for sharing!

Haha I mostly grossed out because I was eating some of my birthday cake while reading that.
And it was wasn't aimed at you writing it, just whoever decided to write it on the thai forum.
Ewww....
