Google Earth - Updated Images

Just been having a look a the new images, dated 1st October 2009, of the Fethiye area on Google Earth. The previous ones were 5 years old.

Yes I saw this yesterday as well.  They are now only about 1.5 years old.  Couldnt see myself in the swimming pool. Maybe next update?

That's funny, I only make it 4 months. Maybe you were in your time machine and not in the pool?

Still on 2005 images for Gunlukbasi our house has not been built yet.
It is a bit like living in a time warp up here

The new images are mostly south of a line drawn roughly between Tasyaka and Karagozler. They show the new developments at Green Valley and Viewpoint and also the whole of the Kaya Valley and most of Hisaronu.

If you look at Hisaronu, you'll see that the new council buildings aren't showing in the 2004 image but just to the left, below the Monday Market, there's a distinct change in the colour of the trees and that's where the new 2009 images begin. So, Ovacik is still 2004 images but Hisaronu is 2009.

Calis still looks the same.  Took at look at our house and it's just been built as usual must be about 6 years old I think.
