ah chris, 1lb isnt bad at all, knock it on the head and start a fresh, you will get that off in no time. I have been very good this week, although it has taken all my willpower because I know I go away next friday (woo hoo) im going into 'holiday mode' already you know, but I have been good and Tuesday I walked 7.8 miles, wednesday 4.2, yesterday 4.2 and none today, so ive done some good power walks and then will do a huge walk sunday and monday before weigh in Tuesday! I so want a good result before hols! Have a good weekend all xx

You're doing really well NB.  It's always hard when you have a birthday - it's only once a year, and we have to celebrate!  :D

I haven't been to Slimming World since the end of June as I was away in early July on a school trip to Germany.  I put on a couple of pounds that week, which was understandable.  I had to eat the food that was put in front of me - no choices, unfortunately.  :(

For the couple of weeks in between Germany and our holiday to Turkey, we had such a lot on (daughter's graduation ceremony/hubby's birthday etc) that I wasn't able to go to SW.

We were in Calis for four weeks, and I ate and drank everything I wanted.   :o  (Well, that's what holidays are for!!!   :-\ )

Arrived home on Tuesday, but I've had a nasty eye infection so didn't make it to class on Thursday.  I'm back next week, and have somehow managed to only put on about 3 lbs in all those weeks, so I'm really thrilled.

Trouble is - I'm really struggling to get back into the diet, and the pounds are going to pile back on if I'm not careful.  Having lost two stone in total, I need to get back on track AND FAST!!!

Have a great holiday NB - I found with all the extra walking etc, it was easy to keep the weight off.   :)

hey julesbob, great to hear from you, you have been a busy bee! hope you had a fab time throughout? Well done on only putting on 3lbs! thats amazing! Well done you. Well I had weigh in today and I stayed the same, was absolutely gutted, as ive worked my butt off these past 7 days with 7 mile walks each day, hardly syning etc etc so was gutted, but at least ive stayed the same and not put on. I just wanted to loose 2 or 3. Im so close to target (4lbs off) and I seem to stick around this weight you know. When I sit back and see how far ive come (4.5 stone loss now) i think well done me, but then it gets addictive doesnt it and im not happy at the weight im at now, I know I should be but im not at times! ah! Oh well, I can not wait for turkey this friday, 2 weeks of sunshine and relaxing! We will be going to Calis for a day, so hopefully may bump into some of you then? xxx

Have a good holiday NB (wish I was back there!) and don't even think about the diet.  I spent the first week trying to be a little bit careful (lots of chicken salads, or meals with fish) but then ate just what I wanted, including chips and lots of bread!   :o  Oh, and lots of efes too!   :o :o :o

You've worked really hard losing all that weight, and will soon get back into the diet when your holiday is over.  I'm starting back to SW on Thursday night, and looking forward to getting back into the diet and lots of support from friends in the group.  Maybe I'll get a stone off before Christmas - that will put me just below my target weight!   :)

Enjoy your holiday!   8) :) 8)

Have been a slimming world target member for 2 years and for the first time this holiday went overboard on all the superb white bread and rose wine and put 8lbs on over 4 weeks.  This takes me over the top range of my target weight and I daren't go back but know I must or that will have crept up to a stone by the time we are back out in Turkey at October half term. Does anyone know this weeks word for the SW online support so I can get some inspiration before I pluck up courage to go back to class? Thanks

NB it can be disheartening when you stay the same after working really hard, my 'teacher' suggests trying one of the other plans for a few days, so if you do the extra easy-try a red day and green day then go back on extra easy? Worth a try, but only when you have come back off hols!!

The password this week is "DRINK".  Apparently, there's a new system starting next week where you are given a card with your own individual number for logging in, rather than a word.

Thanks for that julesbob that may spur me on to go back as I do use the syns online a lot.  Made a big pan of syn free carrot and coriander soup yesterday to fill me up and stop me nibbling. Sue

I bought the magazine at SW a couple of weeks ago.  It had a free recipe booklet with it, with lots of sin free recipes (turkey & mushroom strogonoff/cottage pie/soups etc).  I cooked quite a few of them last week, and managed to lose the 3lbs I had put on over the summer in one week!!  Made some soup this evening.  It was really filling - weigh in tomorrow night, so hope I've done okay this week!   :)

The recipes in the magazine are really good the one I use for spinach and ricotta lasagne is great even my son who hates all things green had it for tea last night.  I am definately going back next Thursday as I should be back at the top end of my target range.  Hope you did ok this week.
