Thanks girls - we all need encouragement!  I lost another pound and a half this week - that's 22 lbs altogether.

Just need to stick at it!  About ten pounds more to get to goal!   :)

Still here NB!  Was in Germany for a week last week so couldn't weigh in.  I weighed when I got home and had put on 2 lbs (real Black Forest gateau - yummy!  :o )

Yesterday it should have been my next weigh in but it was my daughter's graduation ceremony!  (We were very proud parents, so had to take them all for a meal afterwards - whoops!)  Missed another weigh in!!  BUT, I was careful with my choice of meal, and it looks as if I am now back to where I was before the German trip.   :)

Only next week, then we're away for four weeks in Turkey.  I'm going to be very boring and take my scales with me.  At least that way, I can reign it in if I start to put weight on. [:(!]

So, no more weigh ins until the end of August (will give it a miss next week - I'm not paying for two weeks, when I know I can't go for the next four!!)  All in all, a 22 lb weight loss to date, and I'm DETERMINED not to put more than a couple of pounds on at most whilst we're on holiday!  It's going to be hard, but not impossible.  I just feel so much better than I did a few months ago.  I don't want to put all my hard work to waste (or should I say "waist"!)  :-\

By the way, I bought a fab, very fitted red dress for my daughter's graduation ceremony, but the weather was foul!  I couldn't wear the dress as it's dry clean only and it would have been ruined in the rain.  It looks just gorgeous on, and shows my weight loss perfectly.  I have to make sure it still fits me for Christmas - I can't imagine going anywhere posh before then!  :D :):D

Hi everyone - nice to see you are all going strong and keeping up with the weight losses.  As I've reached my target weight I am no longer consciously dieting but trying to maintain.  I am currently 1LB under goal so I'm happy. Although I don't regularly contribute at the moment I am still watching your progress.
So good luck and keep it up

Janet
