Thanks Sue.  Yes, I lost another pound this week, so it's going in the right direction.  Have had a VERY stressful week, but tried to stick to the diet!  Good luck when you go - it really is such an easy diet to follow as you know.  I've got absolutely no willpower at all, and the pounds are falling off!  :D

Well done for going straight back, I finally went back this morning 4 weeks after our return and now on the countdown to October half term and only half a pound over the top of my target range so should be back to target by the time we go again ready to put it back on with all that lovely white bread and Rose wine. Should be a good week this week though hubby is working away in the States so the kids are stuck with SW meals all week and no syns.

It only took me so long to go back as I don't want to pay anymore and when we came back this time I was 6lb over the top of my target range.  Should easily get back to target this week with hubby away I won't drink any alcohol and find it easier to be good when I am cooking for myself and the kids.  Hope you have a good weekend too x

well last week I was being, I would say 85% on plan, it takes me a while to get back into it, but this weekend it all went out the window, my Grandad passed away saturday morning, and it has hit us all hard as we were all very close, so food wise Ive gone off kilter a bit and been eating what I want, so I will see the damage tomorrow at weigh in! I'll get back into it, it just takes me time xxx

hi all,
i cant believe i've only just found this topic!! i too am dieting, and struggling BIG TIME!! my motivation is our wedding next year and so far i've lost 10lb... only another 31 to go to fit into my dream dress [xx(]

i find losing weight difficult because i can't stand salad, for veg i only eat carrots and potatoes and i'm addicted to stodge!! i love my bread, pasta, rice etc. my only saving grace is that i don't like sugar either so i never eat chocolate and have never been a crisps or biscuit person.
has anybody got any tips or recipes that are tasty and not full of veggies??

my only tip is to keep a log of your measurements aswell as your weight. i only lost 1lb last week which i was pleased about but i felt slightly demotivated as i'd not only been extra good with my eating but done lots of exercise. i was over the moon when my measurements showed that my hard work had paid off as i'd lost 2in off my hips, which is my most stubborn area!!:D it's spurred me on to work just as hard this week and because i look in the mirror everyday, i don't notice the loss as much but i can see from my measurements that i am losing it  :).

well done so far ladies and keep up the hard work [:o)]  xxxx

HI Billeigh-jo, well done on your loss so far, you have a great motivation to do it for, and you will loose it, its best to do it over time, its taken me 3 nearly 4 years to loose 4.5 stone, and it has stayed off  :) because I gained recently in turkey, I have 7lbs of holiday weight to get off and then another 4lbs so 11lbs in total before crimbo. Like you, I like stodge, im not a huge bread fan, so I eat Weight watchers brown danish bread, but I love Pasta, rice, potatoes, half pounder cheeseburgers, kebabs, anything bad I like, but the diet I am on (slimming world) is fantastic, as you can have pasta, rice, potatoes every day, as long as you use lean meats (no skin or fat on) or extra Lean mince meat (for spag bol) then its all good. Im not sure what diet your following, so every one is different. Im a bit fussey with Veg, I only eat tinned marrowfat peas ('free' on slimming world) broccoli. since ive been on SW ive grown to absolutely love Leeks, mushrooms, cauliflower, and a few others, I never thought I would beleive me! Its hard to give you recipies if your on a different diet though, so let me know. a favorite recipie of mine is my own carbonara, penne pasta, chicken, ham, mushrooms, extra low fat creme fresh (spelt wrong!) and a splash of mushroom sauce its delicious, quick and low fat. xx
