Well done all, we are back to it and will DO IT! Im a bit peed off at the changes though SW have made, quorn sausages used to be free then went to 1/2 syn and now are 1 syn each, quorn style roast fillet pieces used to be free and are now 1/2 syn all be it for the whole pack, but still I hate syning and I can go days with out syning, but now, everyday stuff is being synned. The good thing is you can have more milk etc, and Ive swapped over to Edam cheese now which you get 35g of instead of 30g. But hey ho. Your right though heather, I need to mix it up a bit, cause I find that eat the same thing over and over and over again, because I love it, then I get bored, and then I dwindle. They say to set your meal plan out for the week, but I cant do that, so every evening I work out what im having the next day, and I find that that works. For example tomorrow night im going to do steak, SW chips or potato wedges, with a garlic mushroom sauce (using garlic and herb philly light) fry the mushrooms, add a tablespoon or two of garlic and herb philli to the pan, let it melt and add a tad of water if you want it more runny, and its gorgeous!! so thats a great dinner, and cause its saturday I need to get myself out of (saturday night takeaway night) so im going to buy some lovely steak tomorrow night. Well good luck all this week and speak next week xx

Well done Slk.  6 1/2 is no mean feat..

I managed to lose 3 lb this week so that is half of what I put on over xmas gone.

I have had lentil soup just about everyday and then discovered tonight that I was counting lentils as raw when it should have been cooked weight.  Difference in points.. Cooked 3 Raw 1  oops.  I could have lost more if I had read it right.
back to the books..xx

I am only eating beef, chicken (no skin or wings), pork and fish but no lamb as it is too fatty. I can also eat no fat cheese, no fat milk and yogurt. As much tea and coffee with saccharin. 1 and a half spoons of bran oats per day and that is it. You can eat as much as you want but cant deviate from that for the first 5 days. Then it is 2 days of mixed protein and certain veggies then 3 days back on the protein and like this for 6 weeks.
works really well but you must drink plenty of water as your body doesnt get water from any of the protein foods. If you google dukan diet you can get more details.

Wow - you're all doing so well.  I went back to SW a couple of weeks ago and was shocked at how much weight I had put on since I stopped going in November.  Have been back on plan but couldn't weigh in last week, my first weigh in is tomorrow and I'm so nervous.  Interested in the Dukan plan but I do love my carbs so don't know if I could do it.  Heather, I love my slow cooker. It's great to go to work and come home to the dinner cooked and ready to eat.  Best wishes all, Bridge xx
