Onur airways cancel all summer flights

please check your filghts with Onur air this summer as my son and his 4 friends have had there flights cancelled 1 hour ago, have they gone bust who knows. the lady at A1 said Onur have cancelled all flights

I've just spoken to Aegean Flights and they have advised that although some flights have been changed not all flights have and that people would have been informed by now if they were affected.

I'm flying with them in July so am hoping that this is correct

we are flying with corenden and pegasus,april/may .we should have been flying  with onur.when i rang and asked about june /july flights,i was told we are still flying with onur

So sorry to here about your sons flight cancellation.

I would really appreciate any more information that Onur Air have given you have regarding this, i.e. flight details and the reason why the flight was cancelled and if it was confirmed to you that ALL flights are cancelled. As I'm sure you can appreciate this has caused major concerns to many travellers - there are 11 of us flying with Aegean airlines from Glasgow on 19 June.
Cancellation of our flights would be awful for us as we are counting the days (99 to go today)until our much anticipated holiday.

We booked our flights for May and September this year with Aegean Flights, the airline was Onur for both trips.  We had a letter ages ago to say that our flight was now with Thomas Cook for May (changes to time) but have not yet received any notification regarding our September flights. Maybe Onur have got big problems.  Both of our flights were booked July last year so I expect we will learn soon about our September flights.  I am not panicking about it.  If airlines go bust the customer is usually OK. We had it before with another airline that went bust and there really wasn't a problem.  It is only a problem if you are out of the UK on holiday when it happens as it may take a while to get you home via other airlines.

..and I just bloody paid my balance to A1 travel yesterday!! It had to happen the first time I book with them (by mistake I add).

I have about 6 flights booked with them and it is clear something is wrong due to the amount of changes of carrier etc and by this time they would usually have released the winter schedule.

However I am hopeful that they are being proactive and laying off bookings with a view to being around in the future.

Lets be honest - if they survived 2 - 3 years ago when we were paying £70 retn with 20 kgs of luggage then they should survive now in view of the way they have raised their game (prices) for extras.

Hopefully they will as it does us all good to have competition and I for one have never had any problems with them that were "critical" and always found the staff (office and flight) to be helpful.

I have a load of flights booked throughout the year - have had no changes.Have googled both Onur and Aegean and there has been no adverse news,in fact no news about either recently.

We are flying from Manchester on the 26th July had an email the other day to say we have a time change its now 12.00 and 10.00 oclock no mention about cancellation.
