Somebody has taken it upon themselves to put posters on lamp posts in Hisaronu advertizing a public meeting.
In Turkey, this is ILLEGAL without permission which takes several weeks to arrange if you are a foreigner and requires the permission of the Jandarma.
Our advice is - Do Not Attend.
Emotions are naturally running high which is totally understandable but a process of negotiations has started and legal action will commenece in the very forseeable future.
It is important that nothing is done to undermine or detract from these processes.
Expect an update later in the week and in the meantime if people really want to do something they can talk to everyone they know and tell them the following.
The Dolphin Park only has a licence to sell snacks from its kiosk - nothing else.
Anyone who swims with the Dolphins
- is taking part in an illegal activity
- will not be covered by either their own insurance or public liability insurance in the event of an accident
- is putting themselves at risk by swimming in water that has not been tested not even once, and is probably rife with ecoli, listeria and salmonella never mind other undesirables
- will have no means of redress in the event they are hurt in any way because without the license there is no health and safety management and no accountability.
