Always happy to oblige Heather

Since our visit 14th May nothing has changed - the subsidence remains as seen here and the pool is still half full of water.

Thanks for the pics Dolphin Angels![:(!]
If it wasn't so serious I would think it was a JOKE!
Maybe one of the Engineers, builders who are reading this could comment on the subsidence issue?
Never mind the subsidence issue what about Pic 2?
No gate, fences propped up, pool has obviously leaked as it is now at 'Shelf' level! How could the dolphins safety be secured?
Pic 1 does give a precise photo of how small this 'Puddle' is!
How on earth any Government department could grant the opening of this monstrosity is beyond me, let alone the transportation of the dolphins!

In the pictures that I have seen so far I have not seen any for Facilities.  Are there to be any toilets, changing rooms etc. on site or is that where 'Nadia-s bar' comes in?

Also where would the building be that housed all the paraphenalia needed to keep the testing equipment, water treatments, chemicals etc. required to keep the water up to standard, ph levels, cleanliness etc. etc
[:(!][:(!]

Oh my God!  They are never seriously going to open it?  The video was bad enough, the leak was disgusting, but this is appalling and shameful!  What are the going to do when the pool collapses completely, all the water runs out of the pool and the dolphins are left in 6 inches of water?  Every time I read about this abomination it gets worse and worse.  It leaves me speechless!

God this whole situation has become a joke only I am not laughing nor I suspect are a few others, firstly I am duped into believing Mayor Yilmaz has not had much to do with this whole fisasco and now from what I have read he has, secondly if this project goes ahead I will not be able to live with myself if two dolphins are made to live and perfom in that piece of s**t they are calling a pool, today's photos of the subsidence look absolutly terrible, and thirdly how can the authorties in Turkey be on about fining / imprisoning people for doing pick up's for family members etc at Dalaman airport when all this is going on before their eyes, makes me want to sell up and see life in another country maybe, my love for Turkey and it's people is now dwindling very rapidly!

as with most on this forum i believe this venture should never even have been thought of,  let alone construction begun.  But i believe it has shown how by working together so much can be acheived well done and good luck to you all.  Karennia, many many turkish people are as appalled by this idea as expats, which for me has given me hope for animal rights in the future.  However the motives of certain government officials leave a lot to be desired, and maybe voting with your feet to another local authority area of turkey will bring home this point. good luck all
