This information was brought to the attention of the Kaymakan and the Head of the Fethiye Tourist Board and they are not pleased at all that the area is being brought into disrepute by the planned Dolphinarium and have expressed their opposition to it.

As I see it Hamish Mcturk has double standards. In one breath he is saying they wont be selling tickets for the Dolphinarium in Hisaronu, but he is still selling trips to the one in Kas (as advertised in their brochure). Surely, if he was against this venture, he would stop selling trips to any Dolphinarium. Or is he just someone saying one thing thing to our faces, thendoing the opposite.

There is a new angel in our midst!
A lady called Ellen, who can be found in the new art gallery at the top end of Hisaronu, has kindly translated all of the E E A M standards into Turkish
This is a very time consuming task and she will not accept any payment because in her words she has done this for the dolphins!
We have been told that officials cannot use the standards we have provided them with because they are written in English. Therefore Ellens work is of great importance to our campaign.
Rest assured, her translated standards are winging their way to as many officials as we can think of.
If you are in Hisaronu, do please call in to thank her most sincerely.

When contacting travel agencies, it might be good to just ask them, to answer yes or no, will they be selling tickets or transferring tourists to the new dolphinarium

I just want to post something about the so called champions of the causes whatever the cause and whoever the champions of it may be.

Fancy job titles yes! Glossy leaflets yes! Interesting web sites yes! Appearing on TV yes! Office day 9-5 there we go... that's more like it...

Ask them to get their hands dirty and get out off their offices or do anything remotely useful like provide a contact address or write an email or even send an email that's been written and translated for them or answer their bloody telephone then forget it.

If this project goes ahead it won't be down to the people on the ground running around 24/7 it'll be beacuase the people who are paid to do this are on 'training' courses or in a 'meeting' or pontificating in front of a TV camera. [!]

But you know who'll be rushing out the door to get to the  celebratory party if we win to bask in the glory of our success... well this is advance notice that they can jolly well forget that right here right now because they ain't invited!

Well now I have got that off my chest back to the business in hand
