"Dolphinarium plans create major protest"

I went to Nadias bar yesterday, the young man told me that it was very exciting to have the dolphins opposite, he thought it would be a huge attraction. For that, read it will generate more money for Nadias Bar.
The russian had obviously got there first!
Even after lengthy dialogue, he still beleived it to be good, because the park would be safe for girls to walk past at night, now it is occupied!
Also the Russian loves his dolphins and they are given vitamins!
So forget the cruelty aspect then, as long as they are given vitamins!!
When told dolphins in the wild travel over 100 miles a day, he was content to know that they would get excersise by swimming in circles.

He did think the pool looked small, but the Russian said it was bigger than Kas and was the right size. And the russian should know.

It is certainly necessary for more people to contact them, with regard to informing them of public dissent and the adverse effects this pool will undoubtably have on tourism.

With regards to the Hurriyet article, I look forward to them contacting us now,in order to write an article regarding our views of the situation. And we will rely on known facts not fiction.
Perhaps the Hurriyet stands to gain advertising revenue, because I can think of no other reason for giving this wholly cruel and unnecessary dolphinarium so much biased and unchallenged reporting.

With over 12 thousand signing internet petitions, major tour operators withdrawing approval, travel operators licence being withheld, over 15,000 visitors to the calis beach forum protest site etc etc, I truly believe that we deserve as much columm space, unchallenged, just as the Russian owner has had.

There is a reply facility on the Hurriyet news article inprevious post
above.

That article is blooming disgusting (insert your own word instead of blooming).  How dare they say that about English tourists and Turkish residents?  I have posted my response on Hurriyet.  I will never, ever set foot in Nadia's bar.  This is barbaric!

oh dear, seems the Hurriyet didnt like my new postings regarding advertising, they have not been displayed as yet.
We are still baffled, why did they give such a biased reporting, why were the points not questioned and the facts regarding the pool not meeting any of the standards made clear in the article.
The Hurriyet is welcome to sit in my sunny leafed garden any time to put across our points of view.

I posted my comment about 10.30 when there were 10 comments.  My comment isn't there either!  Just sent another one and there are still only 14 comments.  Maybe they're only putting 1 post in a thousand on!  Curious isn't it?

I think that Jane's article in Hurriyet is excellent.
By being unbiased she allows you, the reader, to form your own conclusion.
An article written in this way can only generate one emotion - pure anger against this evil Russian and their ar$elick friends at the (soon to be empty, I hope) Nadia's bar.
I will personnally boycott any establishment that comes out in support of this dolphinarium and hope that others will do the same.

I have to agree with Kaptainkrunchie.  The story reads to me as factual and unbiased. The Russian manages quite well to dig his own grave and as for Nadia's bar they havn't a clue as to what damage it will do to there business.
