Most people who go to his restaurant will judge him on his food/service etc at that establishment, not on any alledged or real previous misdeeds.

I take each person how I find them. He built our villa and we are happy with it and our dealings with him. I have never made a habit of doing a character search on the owners of restaurants I eat in, or shops I shop in. I CAN say we had an excellent meal at Ali's restaurant last night and will continue to eat there while the standard is so good.

Yes I used to tell Mrs Scunner that when we were courting. Somewhat blinkered, she was never keen on the Fred West Diner

"Bleak House" doing very nicely,and "washing its face" ,as they say. Surprised to hear from you because I thought you were off to sort out the Gaza problem,as only you seem to be able to do. Hold my hand up re Croatia , but I do like the strip. Just to make your evening a happy one - it's spelt "criticize" .Tedious to the extreme, I know but there we have it !
