Jenny, 10 years ago that was us.  Had no intention of holidaying in Turkey. Then in September 2001 that all changed when we were finally persuaded by friends to holiday with them.

We fell in love with place and the rest, as they say, is history!   :)

This film shows just some of the reasons why we all keep coming back.

Hi Marina, that's so right, when I come out though, I feel I miss so much? I want to come over for a week some time when it's not so hot, maybe May? Then I can explore a bit more, I think travelling on my own hinders it a bit also. I'm over on 18th June for 10 days, so hope to get a bit of mooching around done?  :)

Jenny, we've just had two weeks out there in May and, though the weather was bit rough a couple of times with storms, it was cloudy and cooler a couple of days too which, although it's not really what you want on holiday, gives you the chance to explore a bit as you say.  We took the opportunity one of those days to walk round the bay from Calis to Fethiye.  Took us a couple of hours but that was a (very!) gentle stroll and included a coffee/toilet stop at the first bar we came to on the prom.  I probaby wouldn't have attempted it if had been hot and sunny as there's not much shade on the walk.

Hope you have a fabulous time when you go and get chance to explore a bit.   :)

Loved the film and curiosity got the better of me and I clicked "next" to see what other films there were.

Please go back and click next.  It is a classic!  How to sell Turkey to the world......

Round about 37 seconds in the action starts.....

does anyone know how I can access this film again? It seems to have been withdrawn from Facebook. Thanks.
