Make sure you get the right Yaka Park as there are a couple of fakes that have set up nearby. It's a lovely cool oasis in the Mountains where you can see the trout farm and then enjoy a really fresh barbeque of trout and salad whilst sitting in amongst the trees and waterfalls.  Go to http://www.tlosyakapark.com/  ;)

We have booked the Oykun for 2 weeks in July directly with the hotel and the price is £14 per person per night for b&b, my sister has booked for 2 weeks in September / October and the price then is £13 per night in September & £9 per night in October.

Roll on July can't wait!!!!!!!!

Thanks CB - so for a couple for two weeks in July the total cost is roughly

2 x £ 14 per person per night = £ 28.00 per night

£ 28 per night x 14 nights = £ 392.00

ADD Transfer both ways     = £  60.00

TOTAL                      = £ 452.00 including air conditioning

cheers - believe it or not that was one of my more serious posts.

It's a bit like flights - they are quoted as £ 150.00 on page 1 and end up as £ 225.75 by the time you add this and that.

I just wanted to make sure that someone reading the figures didn't get the idea that the all-in cost was £ 392.00 and that it inclusded air conditioning.

We booked a hotel last year at an attractive price (strangely) only to find out that air con was £ x per night extra.

I opened a window ;)

PS I replied before I read DianeT's post which illustrates the point.

I have had a reply from Oykun and we are now booked in from the 18th July - total £784 for 2x twins rooms B&B, air-con included. Safe 15TL per week and fridge TL25 per week. Transfers for 4 of us £75 return. Flights from Leeds/Bradford through Thomas Cook airways £950 (including bags and meals etc). As they say round these parts "job's a good 'un" !

Hi Fifi,

We are also flying with Thomas Cook but from Manchester on the 2nd July £437.96 with all the add ons!!! so pretty similar to your price.  Just wish they would say at the beginning of the booking how much they want not sure about you but I have never managed to go on holiday for 2 weeks without taking any luggage to go in the hold of the plane!!

With kind regards
Diane
