KTHY Flights suspended

I wouldnt bother MT,my wife went there on Tuesday as she had a KTHY flight booked for 9th July.She said it was chaos there with the few staff that were there saying that she knew as much as them, and that they were all losing their jobs.After 2 hours of getting knowhere she went home and managed to get a flight out on 7th July with Easyjet

Well im still going to go i have been given a name of some one who works there by a mum at my daughters school!! it was reported last night on Turkish tv that the merger has taken place im not giving up on this one any news is better than nothing either good or bad the not knowing is what is bothering everyone and i will scream my head off in Turkish if thats what it takes:D im doing this not just for me but for everyone on cbf all of us have been treated in a dreadful way.

Thanks Mary....yes could you ask a question for me please....what the hell does "you will get a seat on the plane if is is available" mean? and what about flights booked for much later on, i.e October onwards. Will there ever be a Dalaman stop? Or is it only Antalya from now on..How do we get our money back if we turn up at the airport  and there is no seat on the plane for us.? Many many thanks.

Don't think its telling us anything we don't already know but its helpful.
I noticed that if your lucky enuf to have booked flights with transit travel theyre offering a refund on your flights.

Hi MT, I'm sure you'll be asking who we should be claiming our money back from, as the credit card companies don't want to know because the company haven't actually gone into liquidation.  Surely kthy are responsible for our refunds?  Not that I think for one minute that we'll get anything back - but it's certainly worth a try.

I'm gutted that we are so out of pocket.  Still trying to be positive that at least we have our holiday to look forward to.  I just don't like have to pay twice for the same holiday!

there was a £2 airlinefailure cost on the web page of KTHY it showed up on the separate costings on line but did not show on the e tickets we had for our june holidays nor is it showing on our september e tickets.

ive emailed the head office of them re this of whom to claim from. but no reply as yet

I will have a list of all your questions to take with me and im really going for this one hook line and sinker, I do not normally shout but I will if i have too!! im staying positive and hope that I get a result for us all! we all deserve it, as far as im concerned this is modern day highway robbery
