In answer to your question I have rebooked flights as couldn't stand it any longer and wrote(well begged) to my bank for a refund on the grounds that kthy are not honouring our flights(manchester to dalaman).Anyway waiting to here as paid on my visa Debit card so cant get too excited about a refund!!! If not will just put it down to experience although what started off as a great priced holiday with accommodation will have very qucikly turn to the most expensive we have ever paid!!!

I booked my outbound flights with a Santander Visa DEBIT card, and my inboud flights with a Tescos CREDIT card.  Liverbird, I would be very interested to hear what your debit card company say, as I did not think you stood a chance with a debit card, but I may be wrong?? Hope so for all of our sakes. At this moment I have put it all down to experience, and any refund I can get would be a bonus...

When Globespan went bust my friend got her money back from Bank of Scotland after using a visa debit card.
I am sure there are threads about this on MSE

If its any help re refunds via credit cards for lost monies include a copy of this item  ----------------------------------------------.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/cyprus-turkish-airlines ,, along with all your other claim forms under section 75,  it clearly states kthy have ceased to trade .

i know of a number of people have used their house/home insurance legal cover that they have to act for them after initial claims have been refuted  so far pending more info.

i have also heard that Atlas jet are about to obtain more aircraft to try and maintain Most of the KTHY Routes FROM 26 TH JULY .

As many CBF Members know i have and still do a ==  i look you book p [ if i can ] service [ == from my data base of flights and packages,  i will continue to post any info i see on here re kthy.

I spoke to a lady today at Tulip Travel London who are dealing with Atlas jet/kthy 020 8211 0001,she kindly said as there are no flights to Dalaman from Manchester would send me a refund form out. I won't hold my breath but just another option as still awaiting reply from Lloyds TSB.
