KTHY Flights suspended

Received full refund yesterday for 2 flights that were booked for 19th July from credit company with no quibbles - just completed their 2 page form, copy of e-tickets and a copy of Kthy website page that states the news as of 21st June, took 10 days to receive the funds. And managed to get cheaper flights with Thomas Cook for the same date!

Very encouraging news! 2 weeks today until we fly and 2 weeks tomorrow til we were supposed to fly! Looking forward to a refund 2 weeks later!!!!

I also got refunds on x 3 flights departing 25/7 - refund received from my bank on the same day as recieving my forms (First Direct are brill). Also managed to get cheaper replacement flights from MOnarch with practically exactly the same times exceppt flying from Gatwick.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned but has anyone had refunds form thier credt cards for flights in the future?  We have flights booked for October but have been told by MasterCard (Tesco Credit Card) that refunds will not be made until after the flight dates.

We booked our flights for September to October with our M & S card.   We completed the form and sent copies of our etickets and they have now 'temporarily' credited my account with the cost of the flights.  They point out that if the flight goes they will debit my account again.  Hopefully this will not be the case.

We have also had a "temporary" refund from our Asda Mastercard for early September flights.

Our's is Tescos Mastercard so hopefully our's will be refunded soon too.  Thanks for the info.

has anybody had any flights refunded onto their debit cards, in particular abbey/santander? and if so, please can anybody tell me what they had to do to get the ball rolling, many thanks..x

Hi Sue, contact the bank that issued your debit card and return the forms that they will send you with copies of your tkts and then wait.
It seems that nothing will happen until the flight date has been and gone.Check the schedule of the airport on the days your flights were due to take off and print these off as further ammunition for your claim.Andy.
