I had my Birthday party there last year. 20 of us in high season. Food was fantastic.Everyone was served at the same time, noone was disappointed. Angel had decorated the table and provided a beautiful cake. They are so nice in this place. What I really like is the fact thaat she always remembers your name even though we are not there for months at a time.

The Nil Bar is great, you wont go wrong with a visit to the Nil Bar, some fun nights as well, there was 10 of us there and we were always made most welcome by Angel and her "boys". The belly dancing night is worth going to but be prepared to take part !!

Yes but we all miss last years "boys" Tevik. Emrah and Cengiz. Everybody loved them.

Where is Nil Bar? Was in Calis last April and don't remember seeing it, I am going back again in September and would like to give it a try.

We are your typical expats and frequent The Nil bar alot in winter and occasionally during summer. My family when on holiday all ask to go to the Nil bar, Our male friend stays at the Nil bar, and quite honestly we have never had one complaint. 2years ago I had my birthday party there and what a party it was...fireworks, cake and great company. Whatever Angel doe's she puts her soul and heart into it.There are also many other great places in Calis which we visit but we are always drawn back to the Nil bar.

Oops! Don't want to be party pooper but my wife and I visited Nil last week during our fabulous stay in Calis. Unfortunately although the staff were courteous and friendly and service was good, the food was terrible. Could be a bad night but two other tables walked out after protesting about the standard of the food. Never gave it a second chance due to trying other eateries. Sorry to be the bearer of bad reviews.

Nothing to be sorry about.Most people come on here and say what they feel.To get a good feel for what is a genuine review,just have a look at the profile and see if they are residents here.Its not a guarantee of quality of course and there are a few personality clashes,but its more likely give you a better idea than reading something from a one week visitor.
