This is all too tedious for words.Fighting folk being killed almost daily and all we seem to rattle on about is the merits or not about a measly cup of coffee.Priorities from now on please.

O.M.G. I am so surprised this thread has caused so much trouble, poor old Scunner told  the truth and complained about coffee and got all this hate mail.  We had a terrible meal at Bostan's but it was just passed over when I wrote about it, obviously, coffee is the most important thing.

It is usual here that when someone makes a criticism about a restaurant that their is a mustering of fans (amazingly in this case one even joining to fire venom) but I agree with Scorcher, 5 pages on a cup of coffee is a ridiculous reaction. Bagpus offered a coffee and oj as an apology and I would have said thanks and concluded the topic if that was all but we then plunged into comments like "I find it very difficult to believe..." which made the offer pointless.

I also find it amazing that my coffee comment got so much flak yet Jacqui's entire meal disaster slipped under the radar entirely! Must be the scunner factor  ;)

"Making a meal out of things" or "just stirring it" - nay, I'm not going to bother ;)

Enough? Think we have all more important things to worry about. Scunner... please try our coffee and OJ next time you are over and see if we have solved the problem. Thanks for the positive things you said. I have not forgotten them. Just a smidgen less sarcasm wouldn't have riled me so much. What the hell. Can we all move on?..............

I can move on easily. Just a smidgen less sarcasm is unfortunately impossible from me I'm afraid. No hard feelings, it really was a trivial matter in our holiday and I once again applaud your admirable support for the Animal Aid guys.
