Does U.K. Justice have it's priorities wrong again
« on: August 19, 2010, 13:41:37 PM »
Just seen on BBC news that a British man has been sentenced to 2 and a half years in nick,--------------- for stealing Peregrine Falcon eggs!!

Does this sentence get up anyone else's nose, especially when one reads of the stupid, lenient 'sentences' handed out to ; Muggers, Drug dealers, Car-thieves, (kindly referred to as Joy-Riders, by our magistrates/Sheriffs), and any other BA$£TARD who decides that they would rather get money illegally than work for it!!

O.K. I accept that the guy has broken the law, but, surely, crimes against the Human population deserve a greater degree of punishment than pinching birds eggs does?
[:(!][:(!]
Gordy.

P.S. This particular rant will never be over, by the way, as far as I personally am concerned!!!!

I wonder if you think his sentence is too long, or the others that you quote are too short?

He has got previous and stood to make £70,000, so I think he deserves a sentence as he is a prolific stealer of eggs

He is one of the UK's most prolific poachers. He used to be one of the UK's most prolific omletters but they were too small really.

Come off it, what I meant is, how in the bloody name of all decency, do prolific drug dealers, car thieves, credit card fraudsters, et al, (most of whom are well known to the legal profession), are given what invariably amounts to a smacked wrist, when the punishment for stealing eggs is 2 and a half years in clink?
In the recent alarming case of one of Britains worst re-offending ' Stoat the Ba's', (Paeodophilic child molesting BA$£TARDS), he was given a community sentence, a new identity, a new address, opposite an infant  school, and 200 yards from a kids nursery, whilst all the time being in contact with one of the murdering scroats who were responsible for the horrific murder of little J. Bulger.
The chappies who are paid shed loads of public money to determine sentencing in this country need their arses kicking, IMHO.

P.S. An' that's no hoo ye spell 'OMELETTERS'!!!!
