Back in the days when agents were showing me around properties in Fethiye / Calis,I was almost always told that there was going to be a park in any nearby gap sites!
Only 1 agent, when asked said that he did not know. I ended up using his agency.
One further memory ..... one agent told me that there was going to be an Olympic size Swimming pool built just along from the new hospital!

Also our definition of "park" can be quite different to the local definition  :)

"MARINE HOMES

Hanel Houses is pleased to announce their latest development of new apartments situated in a superb location in Fethiye.

The 36 apartments with communal pool, have outstanding views of Fethiye harbour and the surrounding Islands".

It is on the left side as you go along the sea road into Fethiye. Just behind the bit that Hanel said will always be a "park":

Hi - we looked around the 2 unsold apartments last week and the maintenance man told us - the view will not be blocked in this one as Esnaf are building a hospital here on this land.

I think he thought that was a plus.....................

Hi Ian
They seem a bit pricey. We got ours a couple of years ago at a good enough price as it was a resale and never lived in.
Not sure yet on my opinion of the hospital. Apparently 3 english residents here lodged an objection yesterday. They only had til today to do it.I should think if it's gonna be it's gonna be.

The "key" was fabulous location - we were interested in something closer to the promenade - sea view not a problem for as long as I can still walk :D

But yes too pricey for my budget! [:(!]
