I have to agree with Gordy, love Spartacus, no matter how many times I watch it I always cry when
Spartacus (Kirk Douglas) strikes the fatal blow to Antoninus ( Tony Curtis)
and Antoninus says to Spartacus, he loved him like his own father
and Spartacus says I love you, like the son I'll never see.. Go to sleep.
What a great piece of cinema.
R.I.P. Tony. you have now gone to sleep.

I preferred him in his comedy roles, 'Some like it Hot' being the best.
I never thought much of custard pie fights until I saw the one in 'The Great Race'. I laughed until I cried.

Me too! Thanks a bunch!

What a fab actor though and equally at home with the comedy roles as with the dramatic one! He will live on in the classics and 'some like it hot' is amongst my top 10 !
