Ive been reading this thread as it goes along, I know Scunner started this up as a bit of fun and a wind up (cheeky scunner) but I still feel like adding my bit ;-) Have been staying in H for years, and each year I see something different in surrounding areas when I go out for walks etc etc, also each year I notice that H is not my scene much anymore, I do love the shops! and like the restuarants, and some of the bars, and me and the fella are quite happy sitting in one of the garden bars having a few drinks in the evening, but i cant quite keep up anymore, and im only 30
I do like H, and I do love Olu, but I had a bad experience in Olu this year, and it really scared me, long story but a Jewellery shop owner broke my real pandora bracelet, started screaming at me it was a fake (it was brought as my 30th birthday present this year, and is not a fake) I demanded he pay for it (as it would be out of the guarantee time frain) then he just got nasty and the owner and other shop owners started to get involed, in the end he paid me, (he checked the pandora website for price) and I was happy, but then he chased after me and grabbed me and pulled me back, the fella then pushed him away, we couldnt understand why, when he paid me he then came after me, we walked away but they started following us, in the end we managed to get back to H (long story cut short) In all the 11 years ive been going to that area ive never experienced any trouble or anything like it. But as i was saying im trying not to worry about going next year, but I am worrying, even about staying in H, silly perhaps, but thats just me. But the long and the short of it is, I like H, and Olu and surrounding areas, but have promised myself to see Calis more next year. Everyone has their preferences
