DHL is a world wide company so I would not think there would be problems.  Cost???? Why don't you ask DHL?

I ship all the time.  I could not use DHL because they don't insure antiques glass, ceramics etc.,   I did once have a customer in London that needed a Victorian Cast Iron Stick Stand urgently for a present.  I rang DHL They agreed to ship the item, even thought it was an Antique as they said Cast Iron was strong stuff, they said I must packed it well and they asked me if I wanted to pay an optional £7.00 to insurance it.  I did.  The item was collected from my home.  It arrived in London in three pieces totally ruined!!  To cut a long story short,  my customer had a visit from DHL who had to show them all the packing just to make sure it was well packed.  They agreed to pay the insurance and told me I was lucky I had take insurance out.
My advise is make sure you tell them what is in the parcel, pack it really well and if necessary insure it.

Just remember when packing anything that these days that the majority of parcel carriers use mechanical handling systems. Their machinery isn't capable of reading a description of the contents and the staff working within their distribution centres are rarely interested in handling goods with care. It's all about speed and if you want care, you've got to pay a lot more for it.

Even if you think you've put sufficient wrapping on a package, out some more on to be on the safe side.

Here's the webpage for DHL Turkey in English

There is no DHL office in Fethiye ACAS is part of the DHL network and we used them for our passports. The office is on the Otogar Road going towards Ovacik on the opposite side to the vegetable merchants.
