Welcome Specky and Baldy, you clearly have got a great sense of humour, reading this thread made me chuckle! Really cold here as well and just come in from doing a Torvill and Dean on my drive; it is like a bloody ice-rink!

We purchased a place in Ovacik a year ago and get out to the apartment as often as we can, I retire in 4 years time and plan to split my time between Turkey and the UK.

I look forward to more contributions from you, good luck.:D

Hi Kevin & Karen

We are both retiring in mar 2013 at 60 we are going to possibly buy a place early next year maybe in Uzumlu,we stayed in Ovacik in September and enjoyed our stay, we are looking forward to meeting new friends and may need some advice from members of the forum on what we need to do,or estate agents/developers to stay clear of,

Ps. Any advice on moving over would be grateful.

Regards, Baldy (Alan) & Specky (Arlene)
