Xmas at the Sherwood Breezes at Lara, Antalya, Brill. NYE spent at the Sundail, really great night then finshed up in Bostons about 01.30

then went to restuarant over the road yukky food
should have gone to the ayde pide next door

Went to the Zakum,food awfull mezi starters consisited of red cabbage,yoghourt,chilli dip sliced tomatoes,but there was soup.Main course fish soup,normal beef casserole sprouts and cauliflower that were raw.There should have been chicken shish but no chicken!Dessert should have been cheescake or apple crumble but they only had cheesecake ..Drinks were advertised as 5.25TL for local drinks we got charged 7TL. We should have had a glass of bubbly at midnight but there wasnt any.It should have been live english music with burt but some turkish people took over his computer and it turned into all turkish music night.Never again.!

One of the best places to be for the food and ambiance at both Christmas and New Year's Eve had to be Bostans.Great value for money,great crowd,great food,not too crowded,drinks at normal prices,service great AND made money for the Animal Sanctuary.Carol and Recep excelled themselves-again.

christmas in Istanbul at the Hotel Sapphire, Sultanahmet.
Fantastic place to stay.
Visited the church of St Anthony and had a great lunch in Taksim square.
Loads of christmas trees, live music and atmosphere.

We had a lovely time New year with Mussi (Dennis the menace)Wasn't the busiest but made us so welcome,Food was good as always and wine was flowing. Danced on the prom even managed a paddle. Breakfast next day was a challenge,The girls had a look then quickly retired back to bed say no more.

went to annas bar, food  was lovely,plenty of it,7 ofus in party no complaints,
and for 25lira,will do again,[and efes only 2,50 lira],

We had a great New Year but then we were in Benidorm ! Sun shine, sangria and good company -lovely!

We went to The Turtle resteraunt in Ovacik for Christmas dinner and had a wonderful day. The food was very good and lots of fun was had by everyone. Even santa put in an appearance and everyone got a present. Well done Salih. Went back for New years eve and no complaints there either.
