Can't disagree with you there, buddy. I used to love singing Baker Street, but just listen to "Right Down The Line", absolute genius, sadly now gone.

Somewhat sadly, I obviously knew of Mr Rafferty and his work but only found out at his death that he was Scottish [:o]

Made £80k last year from royalties from baker street !Wonder how much he made from Stuck in the Middle ?

Steve, I believe that the £80,000 royalties are from sales of probably one of the best albums ever done; "City to City" & n ot from sales of "Baker Street".

The royalties have been in the region of £80,000 per year just for Baker Street. Since it's release in 1978 it's estimated that it's been played commercially well over 5 million times on the radio.

There was also a similar amount coming in annually since 1992 for the use of Stuck In The Middle With You in the torture scene in Reservoir Dogs.
