I agree with Chinook. My belief is that you can't have your TAPU issued until you have military clearance. Seems to make sense that you are sure you able to buy the property you want in Turkey, before you hand over the cash.

According to my Avocat, my whole purchase, including Military clearance, will go through in 6 weeks!

It took four months for my military clearance to come back sent of in April came back August.
