I spent many a happy day working in England's second city, and I also worked in Birmingham!!  The biggest surprise to me, when working there, was the overwhelming number of Blues fans. I'd always taken brum as Villa city, but I was very wrong.

However, I'm not wrong in saying that the Mighty Arsenal, even without Fabregas and Walcott, will do the Blues on Sunday.  Still it'll be a nice day out for all the Blues fans as they come down to London, but let me offer you a warning ... if you do bring the family livestock down with you for the day, don't be tempted to trade it in for a handful of magic beans. ;)

I have just had my tickets delivered and Mrs Fletch is in a panic picking out what to wear. Our tickets are for the Royal box as we are the representation for Notts County FC, this will be the first time I have been to the Wembly suite so keep an eye out for my big smile on tv.:D:D:D

Although I wish Birmingham good luck, I do hope they loose... ;):D

This will be Michelle's first corporate football invitation so I hope she enjoys the day. :D:D

Come on you Gooners!!!

Hope you and the good lady have a very special day out, Fletch.

I'm sure she will be better behaved than my daughter at her first corporate event. She was a nightmare :)

H,I will be sure to stay at her side and introduce her to the famous faces of footi.

Michelle is very quiet so this will be a real 'in your face shock' for her but in a good way.:D:D

Just got back, well what a day and Shelley is very star struck.:D

We shared a table with Graham Taylor and his lovely wife Rita, two of the nicest people I have ever met. He gifted us with stories from his life in football and best of all is he would like us to go down to a Watford match as his guests.

We spoke with Peter Hill-Wood, Fabio Capello and even the old Brummy Jasper Carrot etc etc. It was fantastic to watch Michelle interacting with the famous guests, they loved her and so they should as she is very good company as well as extremely beautiful. [:X]

Seeing my wife experience a day to remember has indeed made my day also a day I'll never forget. Although her ignorance of football led her to make the comment after the game "It's only a game", Graham and I looked at each other and shared a 'Oh my God!' moment.  ;)

Well done Birmingham, they played well and never gave up and in my opinion on the day deserved the win. :(
