The Tugay can be scrubbed from the equation. Looks different, particularly the pool so thats one down anyway! Thanks for the suggestion tho'

Cannot find any pics of the Dawn Beach on the world wide web. Did it change its name I wonder?

Looks a little like the Oykun Hotel....but don't think that has a restraunt on roof?
The location fits the bill though.

Mendos and Oykun- checking now

I do remember that it was just a spit away from a small market set up close to the beach. I bought a lovely statue of Artemis for a tenner there and still have it in our room!
Only a dozen stalls if I remember mostly selling lace and spices and perfume ..

I can't wait for someone to decide what this hotel is! We first went to Calis in 2002 to the Golden Moon and there have been so many changes since then I can't begin to imagine what it was like in 1994.

It doesn't sound like the Oykun, but other than that I can't help I'm afraid.

If it is the Oykun it is on the dual carriageway, if this was there then, and there is defo a lane up the side which takes you to the front and there are two blocks to the Oykun now and also two pools.
