The point of us asking the question..........

We know the rate is always better in Turkey than in the UK, however when we get there in August the rate could be 2.2 here and 2.3 perhaps in Turkey.
The rate here at the moment is 2.5, so do we buy here now rather than risk the rate going down by the time we get there on hols.

Tony I have given my answer around 3 times in the last week or two. My answer once again is, if you aren't going till the main summer minths, take 2.50 in the UK now. That's my personal feeling and there is no correct answer.

And the rate in Turkey in August could be 2.70.

Fairly simple answer which you have already given yourself.
If you think the rate will fall, buy now, if you think the rate will rise buy later. I doubt very much if any member of CBF would really manage to foretell what will happen in the world of money exchange.

Spot on Scunner. I bought mine at The Currency Club last week at 2.5124.

If its 2.7 in August I will 'flash my arse' on the Prom, Saturday at midday!!!

Tony I'm massively intrigued. :)

If you have already bought, why did you ask the question and why did you buy last week. :)
