My daughter, son in law and granddaughter are going to stay in Inverness for a few days.  They are meeting up with another couple who have a baby and are looking for a nice child friendly restaurant for lunch.. Any recommendations[?].  I am sure Highlander might know one:D
Thanks in advance.

My daughter, son in law and their kids from Spean Bridge, often go to Inverness to shop and stay over. They use the Snowgoose restaurant
http://www.vintageinn.co.uk/thesnowgooseinverness/ as they are child friendly. Their kids are 10, 4 & 2 (with number 4 due in 6 weeks!!!)
:D

There are a good selection of restaurants in the city now JH and I assume that they are all child friendly. No reason to think otherwise.

I suspect the bigger problem may well be that some of the other diners are not child friendly.

The Snowgoose is OK and has the distinct advantage of having a carpark.

Hope everyone enjoys their visit to the Highland capital.

Thanks John, know what you mean, however, some restaurants do advise they don't welcome children or babies.  They have booked the Snowgoose for lunch.  They are just having a break for a few days, got a good half price deal on the Loch Ness Country House Hotel, who told them "No charge for a baby, but £20.00 for the hire of a travel cot".   They have declined that offer and are taking their own.

Slightly off topic. Hubby & I got a great 3 night dinner, Bed & breakfast with evening cabaret at Caledonian Hotel Fort William last weekend. Family are close by but don't have room for us to stay over, so hotel let thenm come & join us on 2 nights and for dinner on the Sunday. They only charged the 2 adults and not a penny for the 3 kids. Brilliant sevice eh?
:D
