We had a fab brekkie with Nichola and Dogan - although it was very nippy in Nif !  Last time our breakfast varied considerably, so i have a feeling that breakfast at Kirk Pinar consists of what is in the cupboard !  As anywhere else it must also depend on the season as previously we had big plates of salads and fruit too.   A lovely day, and big thanks to Nik and Dogan for coming out to play - after a lifetime of catering hours we fully appreciate how precious your time off is.  Thanks for spending it with us xxx

Nicolas pictures show more or less the same as we had a few weeks earlier - I should think it a season driven table but it must be so difficult to plan for numbers when you are located quite remotely. Loved the idea of cheese rolls, egg and chips for brekkie!

I was very impressed by a post on here about a year or two ago where a member (can't quite remember who) said they make Turkish breakfast in the UK. Such a thing didn't even occur to me to do till then, and since I try to do it now and again. Turkish black olives from Tesco, lovely sweet peppers stuffed with cheese from Asda, cheese, bread, cucumber, tomato - I do my best to make it as authentic as possible.

Can't wait till tomorrow now for my next traditional Turkish breakfast - cheese rolls, egg & chips!

A bit closer to Calis - Bogaziki on the prom going into Fethiye does a pretty good Turkish breakfast. Different on Sundays though as they do a buffet version.
