Sounds great - remember to set up an academy out there for Notts County - Cypriot football has been doing quite well recently :D

Thanks everyone,

I have started to say my goodbye's to some at the football club and in a way I am really going to miss being there. Although I have only been there for around a year the club really has become part of me. Last night was such a great night (forgetting the results) as I had the chance to entertain our best friends and their family. I had the chance to show them the work that has gone into improving our facilities, our standards, our products, our staff and most of all our attitude. I spent some time with Barry Fry and he of course was on good form as always, he complimented our hospitality and commented that it was of a standard of a much bigger club, I took it in the way it was meant..... ;)

So, now our lives turn on a different corner and the future is what we make it. Both Michelle & myself finally get to show our children the wider world and experience living amongst a different culture, I could have taken a job in Leicester really!! ;):D

I anticipate that my journey to Cyprus will begin in about the next 2-3 weeks but the family will follow at the end of May due to the dogs having to get their rabies injections etc.:(

I will be sure to report progress, the only wish I have is that I do not start smoking again as the heat always makes me feel like a smoke!!!:-\

Also how brilliant that you only had about a year in the job that also happened to be one of the most exciting years in their recent history  :)

Still sitting and awaiting instruction, trying to pack up the house ready for the big off! I have confirmation that I will be flying on Monday and staying in Paphos for 5 days, this will give me enough time to introduce myself and receive training. I'm also hoping to make time to sign up for a villa thus allowing me to prepare for the family in May.[^]

Paphos looks to be quite a nice place although we will be setting up base camp in Peyia village. This location is known for being a favourite with expats and I feel that Shelley and the boys would be happier if they were able to friend up with a couple of Brits. :)

This week feels funny as I am distanced from the club but I plan on going in on Friday and again Saturday for the match. Although I have only had my Subaru Impreza for a short while I am enjoying throwing it around the fen roads and watching the fuel gauge drop with every squirt of the throttle.  ;) It is unsettling not knowing how long both the cars are to be in storage, do I sell or let them sit??? the company car will just be handed back so no emotions with that one. ;):D

We have rented our house to a young couple with 3 children one of whom is disabled. They have not had the best nor easiest starts to life so we made them an offer they couldn't refuse as they currently live in a 2 bedroomed house which is tiny and they pay through the nose for, they also have no furniture or very litle down to lack of money. I told them that we need to leave all of our belongings in the house but feel free to make use of Sky HD and the PS3's for the kids etc. Poor Kelly burst into tears with relief I think, all I hope is that they can make this a new beginning and bag some cash for a deposit on their own house. They are a very young hard working family that have been dealt a bad hand but like I told them, I have won many a poker game on a bad hand!!! ;) (no money involved, honest!)

All for now.
