New Member Ovacik area

Hi, We are Laura and Ray
We have holidayed in Olu Deniz for several years and last year put a deposit down on a villa in Ovacik that's due for completion in May.
The plan was to downsize on our place in Berkshire to part fund it but little did we realise what a drama selling the house would be and 5 months later we are stil stuck in the dreaded chain, but we will get there in the end.
Would be nice to hear from others in the same area and to meet up when we eventually get there.

Welcome to the forum KORKY hope all goes well with the sale of your UK home, chains what a nightmare at least you do not have that problem in Turkey.  Ovacik great place when you are settled pop to Calis for an Efes or 2.

Welcome to the forum (i'm newish here too - great isn't it and very addictive) and good luck with your house sale.  We have recently bought an apartment in Ovacik and will be out there early April to furnish it.  Where is your place?  We bought through Orka.  We will be going out lots (I hope) during the year so maybe see you there.

Villas are called Lydae, built by Hannel they are on the left if coming from Fethiye about 10 min walk from main road, should be out in early June all being well then again in Sept./ Oct.
Hope we can meet up sometime

We have also bought in Ovacik also built by Hanel ours is Xanthos 4, supposed to be finished in May when we are going out for good! Look us up when you get out welcome to the forum.
