Hi Nigel and Tracy, welcome to the site. Don't worry about buying furniture etc, we've just done it and it was a lot easier and a lot more fun than we expected!(I ALWAYS have fun spending money lol!)

Hi everyone ,
Can't fathom out how you enter as anew person!!

My name is well Mary!
Anyhow I am thinking of moving to Turkey But scared to death also. I won't to buy a home for my retirement. At the moment I don't have life and life begins at ......!
So please any ideas problems I may encounter please say won't you all.
I am looking forward to visting Turkey and can you suggest any places I should avoid?
I am looking for house, with maybe sea and country views.  I also have two dogs and I have realised from viewing the forum you can only bring one!!
How do you choose when you love them so much?
Does it matter if you cannot speak Turkish?
What about renting somewhere before your house is ready , this is obviously supposing I can buy somewhere new?
Any help or advice would be brilliant please.

I have two grown up children and have just become a gran!
But I live on my own and its a little daunting!
Will I be lonely . Am prepared to join clubs etc love gardening walking. and would learn Turkish.

Hi Mary

To introduce yourself as a new member go to "Member Introduction" and then click on the button at the top of the page which says "new topic".  It's as easy as that - good luck
