No problem picking up the dolmus for Kargi on the main road thro Gunlukbasi, the one you need is colour coded black ie the bonnet of the bus is painted black

We went here for breakfast today. It was excellent. There was also a tour bus taking a family up to the falls and the canyon. He said hop in my car you can come. We went up there had a paddle and  he cut us all up a huge watermelon which we ate sitting on the rocks and then he took us of a tour of his fruit trees and gardens etc. He gave us figs straight from the trees. Wonderful back for a beer and all this for 20TL each.

Most of  the posts have been about the waterfall but nothing said about the actual museum.So can someone enlighten me as to what the museum contains that makes it worth visiting more than once like a few of you have.Is it the museum itself or the setting it is situated in.I am intrigued to know.

I think its the fantastic breakfast. It was too hot when we were there in July to look round the museum, but we will return for the breakfast next month and probably even look round the museum

Thats a great reply and had us all laughing here.You go to a museum that happens to sell breakfast and the breakfast is so fantastic you dont bother looking around the museum because of the heat.
Has anyone actually looked around the museum? Come on own up there must be someone who has and does,nt just go for the brekkies

errmmm, Ive been a few times now and haven't looked round the museum either.... the baby donkey is worth seeing though, and the breakfast is amazing.
The atmosphere and setting are wonderful, Ive seen the museum in the distance, its things like cartwheels and butter churns, farming tools etc , just adds to the ambience and the experience of the food I think

We've been there twice with different guests and have visited and enjoyed the museum each time.  The owner is very proud of it and is a real gentleman and enthuses about his Yoruk heritage.  Not to be missed after such a wonderful breakfast.

Have done the breakfast and the museum and both are brilliant....the museum has so much in it, really interesting.....the turkeys are very amusing as well .....lol

My Turk partner visited there for the first time, while working for his new business, two weeks ago and says we have to try it one Sunday his only day off, he was very impressed and also surprised that I knew about this place, but I only know what Ive read on this Forum Never been yet!
 My only problem is that I dont eat breakfasts! Will have to go though If I can drag myself out on a Sunday, Usually just have a Kokorec on Calis market for lunch
