Starfish Bufe Yaniklar Beach
« on: May 18, 2011, 21:23:47 PM »
Unfortunately Yetis has decided he has to end his contract with Starfish Bufe, Yaniklar Beach because of many unsurmountable problems from various sources, and will not be working there from today. :(
He would like to say a big thank you to all his customers and the fantastic new friends we have met for supporting him all year and regrets that he has had to make this decision, It was not taken lightly.

I am also told Starfish is not open now since Yetis left Just hope no one has a wasted journey hoping for the lovely food at the restaurant But the beach itself is still lovely Just take your own picnic! ;)

I didn't see your first post Jules (that was the day we moved house so that probably explains that). Sad to read that things didn't work out for Yetis - not our business to know what the "unsurmountable problems" might have been - suffice to say I know exactly how unsurmountable things can be in Turkey if people choose to make it so. At the end of the day, once again, something quite viable is gone and nothing replaces it. Wish him all the very best of luck for the future - good people need to keep trying and their rewards do eventually come.

Thanks scunner It just goes to prove that its not only Yabanci who get scammed here. Yetis is very educated and was working as a banking area manager before living here and now has more fish to fry no problems for him to find a new business

Just sorry that the place isnt open for the holidaymakers that I have recommended it to on this forum and also the regulars there as it is a really special place,

I have just got back from Yaniklar beach ( I have been there several times in the last month). The beach and toilets are as clean as ever and the little Turkish guy is still there. Nothing is too much trouble beds and umbrellas are available. You can get water, soft drinks, coffee and beer. I don2t think that food is available. When we ask it is always coming next week.

Very quiet , only the two of us there.
