I am surprised that the football pitch in Ovacik is not used more to provide football classes for children and other activities. During the summer months the climate up there is ideal and the location very attractive.

I do think that there should be a diary of events for Fethiye even a notice board would do.  Always seem to hear about a lot of things after they have happened.

Land of Lights is just about to start producing a fortnightly "What's On" guide for just this reason. :D

What I'd like is not so much something to 'see' but rather I'd like to be able to hear and understand the council's announcements - not so much the list of who died recently or the price of fish and tomatoes, but the ones where they tell you what's happening, when the electric and water is going to be cut off etc....

i would like a championship golf course to be built in the Fethiye area, i think this would benefit the area as a whole and boost low season visitors  8)

Although not much local current info is given, there are a few websites. I assume there are a couiple of printed media in English, which I should think be able to announce the said notices..but in any case yes a "Wahts on Guide" is agood idea

But of course! There is one at Calis beach, the cook isnt Chinese . He has worked with a Chinese chef for 10 years apparently. I can safely say he does cook real Chinese with real taste better than many Chinese cooks..
