Was in a popular restaurant the other night and had a bottle of wine, then due to unforseen circumstances ordered 4 more glasses of wine.
The 4 glasses of wine was 8 tl more than the bottle and that was Kavak.

Just check it.
Nefes Pide and Melodi give a good measure for the cost.

Last time I was in UK, 3 or 4 years ago I remember paying 6 pounds for a normal glass of wine or is my memory going. I also think I recently read a report on the airport cost as well.

Hi folks!

We have just returned from beautiful Fethiye after ten days of hot Turkish sunshine. To help cool us down, each day we visited Tansas and purchased a 1 litre bottle of Kavak for sale at 12tl which is £4.80.

That's under a fiver for a litre bottle!!!

Shove it in the freezer for half an hour and it's purfect - I should know - we've just done it for the last ten nights  ;)

Home now :(

My son was in Malta last year and said it had gone really expensive.  Although they enjoyed themselves he said he was really surprised how quickly his money was spent :o  He though Turkey was much cheaper. ;)

Also re public jacuzzi's, wild horses would not get me in one after reading an article in the newspaper about them.  If you want more information Google it.   Seems amongst other things, people pee in them all the time and that's not the worst thing found in them!! :-\

My sister just returned from Calami in Corfu. She and her husband had a meal in the Agri Restaurant. One caraf of wine and two meals came to 87 euro.  :o

Guy at work has just returned from holidaying at the Hillside beach

club.Drinks were only inclusive at meal times, outside of these the price of an Efes was £ 9.00  :o

Not my idea of AI ( If the holiday was promoted as an AI)

Makes the 4-5 lira Efes seem like a bargain  :)

Maybe Hillside was full board - they do the same at Lykia World - drinks only with meals.
