I have always found them expensive quoting me over 200 GBP in the past. The only good thing is they will fly you out to inspect damage (would have to bring the wife and kids as well haha wonder if they would pay for that too!)

It isn't all about the policy cost you know. I have known so many clients get a great deal but when needed the company wriggle like an oily racing snake and don't pay out anything at all. £200 doesn't sound expensive to me either?

Keng38 you said you had a quote for 350Tl including earthquake insurance........at the rate of 2.80 that equates to £125 !!!!! Thats not expensive thats dirt cheap.  So if an earthquake demolished your property to rubble and your insurance claim paid for the rebuild, fixtures, furniture etc and the total cost was £125 I would think you have the bargain of a lifetime ;)

I can highly recommend Ergo Sigorta in Gunlukbasi. They do all our friends home and contents insurance and they did my car Insurance and paid out straight away after I was run into and the car was badly damaged.

I see what you're saying. I like to get 2 or 3 quotes before I commit. The problem is i'm not in Turkey to sort it out thats all.
Maybe just bite the bullet.
