Just watching the turkish news, they especially want nappies, sanitary towels, blankets, heaters and baby food. Oddly they have specificaly asked not to be sent clothes, I have no idea why. You can take stuff to any cargo company and they will take it for free, as will any bus company that goes to van (not sure if there is one in fethiye).

So do they need clothes or not?? Will clarify with Fetav today 1st

They have asked us for clothes Julie. Practical stuff like woolies. Trakkie bottoms etc.  We had tents but unfortunatley we sold them in the shop last week.

Dropped off 5 big sacks of winter clothes and a couple of sleeping bags, from animal aid donations,we do hope the people who donated the items ,do not mind us using them for this cause, this once.I'm sure they wouldn't,as they are a fantastic bunch:D

"Embrace " have purchased 22 double size very thick fleecy blankets and have delivered them to Fetav today to be included in the cargo leaving for Van tonight .We would like to thank Muhammet at "Coskun Hali & Ceyiz" very much as the blankets cost 660 lira in total and he  allowed us to purchase them for 500 lira as they were going to such a worthy cause.
