Todays donations
« on: October 28, 2011, 16:28:17 PM »
We have to thank Sandra and Tony again for their kind donations for our British hampers, aka Bells. People are still bringing in some excellent quality items for our sales outlet and as a result we have loads kids clothes and good quality mens and womens clothes. We are stocking up with Winter stuff and have lots of evening wear for the coming festive season. Many thanks to people who also left donations for the earthquake with us. I drove down to Fetav with them today but Bee and jan were sorting out stuff all days Wednesday. They will have a better idea just how many bags of warm clothes we donated. Please could we ask that if anyone else has earthquake donations could they take them directly to Fetav. Their offices are near the PTT. I dont know if they are still accepting donations after today.  :)

Anne it wasnt me and Jan sorting earthquake stuff,  we were stuck in the stockroom, couldnt get out lol.  It was Graham, Julie, Liz, Lindsey and Chris(who kindly bought nappies), they did a fantastic job and we managed to get approx 12 sacks of warm clothing, baby clothes and shoes etc down to Fetav. Many thanks to Ulla our German volunteer who asked all her friends to donate direct to Fetav.

Would just like to say that all 4 local charities pulled out all the stops for the Van disaster and have given generously.  We hope it will help ease some of their suffering.

I have a facebook friend who has just released a new album and offered me the chance to earn some money if anyone buys it through my link. The money will go directly into my paypal account and I am willing to forward 100% of this on to the Calis Children's Charity.

Esther O'Connor/ Ashton Lane : The music is brilliant so please have a listen, get the free track and pre-order the album. Oh - and help this cause  :)

I'm just checking with Esther that everything will go through OK. She's had a few glitches with her systems - so please hold back before you buy.

I'll post as soon as I get the all clear from her.

Right - this is the correct link. Click on the first bit (stoopgroom@etc)and this will take you to the free download. Then anyone who buys will automatically generate money into paypal which I will forward on.

Guess I'll get lots of spam to that address now but hey - it's for charity :D

First sale done. Thanks Highlander.

Every sale will generate $3.5 - so get buying and by all means let us all know so that it's audited on the forum and I can check the payment has been received.

What a great way to sell her excellent album. She's one canny Scott's lassie!
