I once spent the evening in the company of John Peters one of the two pilots shot down on the first day of the gulf war,the other being John Martin, they were caught and held captive through out the war and their battered faces made sad front pages in the press.
He is a truly great man and spends his time doing talks and speaches across the country about his lows and highs in life, they also wrote a book about their exploits in Tornado Down, a very memorable night for me.
