Just back from my first visit to Devlet and their English speaking department (Tourism department) - Well impressed.
2 xrays - 7.70 TL, consultation - 15.50 TL, medicine - 20TL.

On entering hospital go to Tourism dept immediately on your left and register. You need blue book, kimlik number and passport. Then they take you to get your appt number, you then go to cashier and pay your consultation fee, then you sit and wait for your number to come up. The number system for each department works - mostly. Unfortunately some people (Turks and English) still tried to jump in front and ruin the system. Some were successful, some not.The xray system (no number system here) - register at counter at top of stairs on left, go through to xray section, put your form at the bottom of the pile, join the disorganised queue and wait for name to be called. Results come in about 1 hour.(pay at cashier before you go upstairs)
All depts close between 12 and 13.30 - so go to the emergency exit and on your right hand side there is the cafeteria. Fabulous and dirt cheap toasties.
It does get very busy, so you will possibly have a long wait, however, once you are seen you are in and out quickly. Over 65s and under 7s are seen as matter of priority regardless of their number - do not know if this applies to ex pats.
All in all a really good experience and will definitely be using Devlet as my hospital of choice in the future.

Or nip into the passport police & they will look it up for you.

There is another topic on the Devlet in the Healthcare section here: {A Link to an old CBF topic was here - no longer available}43637&SearchTerms=devlet
