Yesterday we decided to use the local bus from the otogar to the airport and can report all was good. Take bus number 600 at a cost of 1lira 60kurus per person and after a 50 min journey arrived well.I would add on another 30 mins to that time if travelling in the rush hour traffic  :)

Thanks for the information - always useful to get "winter status" as more of us might be taking this option in future years.

Do you know if the bus went to both of international terminals?

Does anyone know if you use the bus option say if you have a night flight and land maybe 3am can you get the bus then or would you have to wait around for the bus service to start up again at a reasonable hour of the day[?]

Hi Ian yes the bus goes to both international and domestic as they are both next to each other and it stops some where in the middle so a 2 min walk to international departure entrance  :D saved a 40 lira cab fare:D the bus runs every half an hour

If you arrived as you said at 3am then yes you would have to wait till the buses start in the morning but there should be a shuttle bus available which costs 10 lira per person.

I think the first one to the otogar is around 6am, so not too long a wait, once you take into account getting the visa, doing passport control, duty free & the luggage

If you get one of the midi coaches from Fethiye ie Bati Antalya or Fethiye Seryhat, you only have to walk into the otogar building at one side & out the other. If it's one of the big coaches ie Pammukkale, they come into a different part of the otogar at Antalya, so it's a bit further to walk
