Merhaba Everybody

Hi Everybody, thought,as I've been living here for 5 months now,its about time I gave my finger a bit of exercise and enrolled on this supurb web site!! Is that OK Heidi and Keith?
Ingol Angel,my wife,Pat has been a member for about 12 months now and has been doing all the secretary bit!! Now,I have loads of time on my hands, why not put it to some use and get typing and start learning and hopefully giving out information,if I can be any help at all.
I have met a lot of you out there all ready,I'm pretty good on faces and names, but if I call you "mate",usually means I'm searching my Brain Cell, trying to put a name to you!! Thats the "Mancunian" in me.Talking of Mancunians, and there are a few of us out here, don't mention Utd!! City till I die!!!
Can't wait for "The Forum" to open and good luck to all involved. Its got to be an instant success!!
If anyone is passing, you're more than welcome to drop in (if we're up)!!
Take care everyone, look forward to answering mail and hopefully meeting you all.....eventually,'cos we're going to be here for a long time.

Thanks for the response everyone,am still getting used to this thing called a pc!! Will try and write more often.
When I was living in St Annes, the locals there were called "Sandgrowners",think thats right.Any connection Sandgrounders? Lived there for about 12 years. Then moved to Fulwood,Preston.Reason being,I was in the Fire Service for 30 years, and I changed Fire Stations for last 8 years of my career.
For all us City fans,I'd like to inform you, there is quite a fan base over here. That was the one thing that broke my heart,I had finally got my son and myself a Season Ticket, and then a season later we're "upping sticks." The sacrifices we make!!!
Right, nearly that time again,Channel 41-Digiturk is showing the Man Utd vs Blackburn-Come on you Rovers!!!
    Bye for now,Johnny
  iyi eglencer (have fun)

This is real spooky Johnny................I'm an ex fireman as well :o I ended up as a station officer at Southport Fire Station. Southport is where the name Sandgrounder comes from. We can swap Fire fighting stories over a few pints of Efes when we are over in may:D
See you all soon

That would be nice,Russ.A drink in "The Forum" bar, sharing tales of our "heroism" and all the car parks we've helped create!! Southport used to belong to the Old County as I'm sure you remember! I started my career at D60-Stretford,1972,just prior to County changes. There would be a bit of a problem, though in the bar, with other people tripping up over all our hosepipes!!!Should be a few replies to that I think!! LOl:D
Anyway, take Care to you both, look forward to eventually meeting up with you,Johnny.
Ps-Firefighter throughout my career apart from the odd acting up. ;)

Thanks for reply Orange, looked at your profile, think I know you,but I think you're older than 13:D Don't go feeling sorry for Ingol Angel, though-She's hard at work at the mo,carrying bundles of wood along the Gunlebashi Rd!! Oh,and looking after the goats LOL  ;)
Maybe get together soon at another of Heidi's famous barbecues!!
   Take Care,Johnny.
