There are some dogs that just do not do very well in Kennels.
My friend has a Boarding Kennel in the UK, she says some dogs pine for their owners, so much so, that they refuse to eat for a few days.
Others are extremely nervous and soil themselves due to worry and stress.
If she has a problem dog that refuses to eat due to stress, she often cooks mince and chicken to encourage them to eat.
Also, she has a quiet area away from the main Kennel where these dogs can be kept a lot calmer.
She is always truthful and will inform the owners on their return if the dog has had difficulty settling.
I was just wondering if possibly these dogs just happened to be the kind that did not do so well in kennels and were upset by their unfamiliar surroundings, which had nothing to do with any bad treatment of the dogs.
