Which Calis Do You Prefer

The Calis of 1989, without a doubt, UNIQUE,

The old Calis...though, like Julesp, I prefer Fethiye.

I really love living in Calis and wouldn't want to move to another area BUT preferred it when it didn't have hundreds of empty houses and apartments for sale so I guess my answer is the "old" Calis.I do like the better road conditions though which wouldn't have happened without the new buildings.

We have been coming to Calis for 8 years now and we like to see how the place has improved over this time, but its always nice to come back and see the same old faces running the bars and restaraunts.

We would op for the 'old' Calis of the 1990's - it had a lovely laid back charm which resulted in us coming back for more year after year.  There have been many changes/improvements over the years, nearly all good, although we miss places like the Vadi Gardens restaurant but then again we enjoy lots of meals in the newer restaurants that are around now, especially Bella Mama - so it is swings and roundabouts.   As far as Fethiye is concerned we prefer it now to how it used to be back in the 90s.

Our first visit was in 1993 Calis catered more for the Germans then but we have since all but driven them out . There are more things to do now so I would say I like it more now although these days we always have a car so can go where we like and have sold up in Gunlukbasi and bought in Delitktas.
