It's amazing what adding 3 extra British (workers)friends, into the equation can do!Hotel beginning to come together now.Still a lot of hard work to do but at least can see a light at the end of the very long tunnel.Cant wait for the quiz nights to start again.Only night out I get is for darts on a Monday these days.

That looks really nice - I remember the building and don't recall thinking it was 'nice'

To be honest we passed it today and did not GET the location or appeal.

No disrespect to the owners intended:(

They obviously know what they're doing...best wishes to them.

The place is nice, the gardens are lovely. But location isnt great I agree! I just moved from across the road from there too It Would have been a good place to nip into for my Fish Chip and Mushy peas fix, will have to drive there now,

Good Luck to Carol and Recep I hope it does well

I suppose it depends on what you are looking for - I can only just picture the place in my memory but plenty of hotels in Calis that have been exceptionally popular didn't have the best locations in town. For example the Ernur of 2003/4/5 was always full and busy. Another one is the Almina, Ali Bozkurt's hotel down a side street up near the Gunlukbasi road - whenever I was there it was normally busier in the bar than most seafront hotels.

In fact, Calis is full of hotels tucked away here there and everywhere and I've probably been to them all - and one thing you find is they all seem full of people who wouldn't stay anywhere else, and have stayed there every year from the last 6 or whatever. So maybe location isn't the be all in Calis that it is in other places  :)

My moto is simply , if the Foods Good, the Hospitality inviting, then that's what brings in the punters, therefore Recep and Carol tick these boxes.
